fieldtask_list_products lets an AI client search your organization's catalog of products and services, page by page, and see each one's price options. It's how the client turns "the condenser fan motor job, standard rate" into the product and price IDs it needs to add a line item to a job, a quote or an invoice.
Same checks and results as REST GET /public/v1/products.
Only products and services approved in your catalog are listed. Unavailable ones are included unless the client filters them out.

FieldTask's tool description tells the client to search by name, then inspect prices; to keep named options separate even when their amounts match; and to ask you to choose among them. These are instructions to the client, not guarantees.
Arguments
All arguments are optional, and filters can be combined. search matches anywhere in the name, ignoring case; descriptions aren't searched.

Additional properties are rejected.
To read the next page, the client passes page.next_cursor back as cursor, keeping the other arguments unchanged. To fit MCP's response size limit, a page can hold fewer products than page_size even when more exist; page.has_more still tells the client to continue.
Result
The result has data, a list of products, and page. Each product has the same fields as in List products (REST).
Each entry in prices is one price option:
- A legacy unit price (
source: "legacy", withidandnameset tonull) comes first, when the product has one greater than zero. Named options (source: "price") follow, newest first. - An empty
priceslist means no price is configured, not that the product is free. - A
recurringoption doesn't create a subscription or a recurring job.
