fieldtask_get_product lets an AI client read one product or service and its current price options by ID. The client gets the ID from fieldtask_list_products or from a create result; you never need to supply it.

Same checks and results as REST GET /public/v1/products/{resource_id}.

The product must be approved in your organization's catalog. A deleted product, or an ID from another organization, is reported as resource_not_found.

Arguments

Arguments for fieldtask_get_product. Descriptions are the text your AI client receives.

  Use the record ID returned by the corresponding list or create tool; resolve user-provided names through those tools first.

Additional properties are rejected.

The product is returned in data, with the same fields as Get a product (REST). See Reading prices for how prices is built, and Choosing a price for which option a job item needs.
