fieldtask_get_quote lets an AI client read one quote by its ID, including its line items, terms and customer note. The client gets the ID from fieldtask_list_quotes or from a fieldtask_create_quote result; you never need to supply it.
Reading a quote never changes it. No FieldTask tool sends, accepts, declines or converts a quote.
Same checks and results as REST GET /public/v1/quotes/{resource_id}.

The location summary needs customer_locations:read. The tool is offered only when Quotes is available for your organization.

Result
The quote is returned in data, with the same fields as Get a quote (REST). Items, terms, the customer note and the totals all come from selected_revision. For a sent quote that someone is editing, that's the new draft revision, not the version the customer has; the client should check selected_revision.state before describing the values as what the customer received.
A quote with more than 200 items, or one too large for an MCP response, fails with temporarily_unavailable. Read it through REST or in FieldTask instead.
