fieldtask_list_member_invitations lets an AI client list the invitations for ordinary members of your organization, with each one's status and expiry. It includes invitations created in the FieldTask app as well as through the API. Invitations for admins aren't shown.

The invitation tools act on behalf of the owner or admin who approved the AI client's connection, and that person's current role counts. The tools appear only while they're still the organization's owner or an active admin. If they lose that role, the tools disappear from the client's tool list, and calls return operation_forbidden. The tools also need invitation reads enabled by FieldTask.

The tool has no filters. The client pages through and filters the results itself.

Additional properties are rejected.

To read the next page, the client passes page.next_cursor back as cursor, keeping page_size and ordering unchanged. A page can hold fewer invitations than page_size while page.has_more is still true, to stay within MCP's size limit.

Result

The result has data, a list of invitations, and page. Each invitation has id, email, role (always member), status, created_at and expires_at. status is pending, accepted, revoked or expired; see Invitation status.

An invitation's id isn't a member ID. Once someone accepts, find their member ID with fieldtask_list_members.
